Dorothy Pauline Conley
1920-2010
The death of Dorothy Conley, wife of the late Ralph Conley occurred at
the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 6, 2010. She
was born on January 15, 1920 at Saint John to the late Burkett and
Sophia (Peters) Winchester. Dorothy worked for Exxon Mobile as a
secretary in California for many years. She and Ralph lived in Las
Vegas for many years prior to returning to Saint John.
Dorothy is survived by a brother: Maurice of Saint John; several nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Dorothy was predeceased by eight brothers: Claire, Gordon, Vincent, Malcolm, and Richard infants: Louis, Hunter, Joseph and two sisters: Connie Williams and Marion McDevitt.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter’s Church, Clarendon Street on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11 AM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery, beside Ralph. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
