It is with great sadness the family of Ronald Thomas Dunham announces his passing which took place on August 20, 2015, at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on October 31, 1946 he was the son of the late Ronald Theodore and Louise (Burley) Dunham. Ron worked for the Saint John Fire Department for 29 years and retired as a Lieutenant. He enjoyed playing hockey and baseball as well as spending time with his grandchildren. Ron looked forward to his social time at Tim Hortons in Grand Bay-Westfield where he met new friends and connected with old ones. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Pam; children, Krista and her children Tyler, Tristan and Jenna of Saint John; Jeff (Cindy) and his children Emily and Rebecca of Grand Bay; mother-in-law Margaret McLeod; sisters-in-law, Debbie Ingalls of Grand Manan and Paula Gault of Grand Bay, brothers-in-law, Leonard Ingalls of Grand Manan and Bruce Gault of Grand Bay; Many cousins, nieces and nephews. Beside his parents he was predeceased by his father-in-law, Vernon McLeod and his niece Kelly Ann Ingalls. The Family would like to thank the staff of 4C North, 5C South and the Palliative Care Unit, for the wonderful care of Ron. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) with visiting Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 4-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:00AM from St. Matthews Church, 45 Dollard Drive, Grand Bay–Westfield. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kelly Ann Ingalls Memorial Scholarship Fund or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
