Every memory of Aunt Elizabeth brings a smile to our faces. From our visit to her home on Elliot Row to her “Penthouse”. Thoroughly enjoyed her guided tours of St. John, thankful for all her beautiful crocheting and were awed by her highly organized collection of VHSs. When we hear thunder, we will know it is her bowling with the angels. “There are souls in this world which have the gift of finding joy everywhere and of leaving it behind them when they go.”
Thank you, Sandra, for being such an amazing caregiver and deeply appreciate the support you generously provided to our Mother/Mother-in-Law (Lois), when she was undergoing her journey with Lionel’s Alzheimer's.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Liz. She was a very likeable person who had a great sense of humour and who was a lot of fun to be around. I always appreciated getting a Christmas card from her every year. It was sad when they stopped because she was ill. Praying for you all during this difficult time. Liz will be missed by many. RIP dear lady.

My Nan was always such a shining Beacon, her home was always warm and welcoming no matter how life had found her. It was a home and haven on Elliott Row beyond just the family, it was easy to tell even as a grandchild when most of the neighbors were family friends, and their space was open because Nan had made sure her space had been.
She was a joy, a blessing, and a safe Harbour against any tide. Always looking for the brighter and better, as life meant it to be.
Not a huge historical person like a Rockefeller, or an Irving or Trudeau, but one of the biggest and brightest we could ever have the privilege to know, and always wanting to bring smiles and laughter to everyone she met.
No one could ever be the brilliant soul you were for all of us, I was truly blessed to have you as my grandmother.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Elizabeth’s passing. She will forever be in my heart as the smiling, laughing and helpful woman who came to my wedding to share my special day. I loved how she would crochet me slippers and how she and dad talked frequently before they became ill. Please accept mine and my family’s sincere condolences. Sending our love and virtual hugs. They are almost all together now.
