Obituary of Catherine "Gertie" Gertrude Woodworth
It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine “Gertie” Gertrude (Price) Woodworth announces her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Born in Saint John on August 21, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Gladys (Donaldson) Price.
Gertie leaves behind her children, Gordon Woodworth (Wendy), Tim Woodworth, Shawn Woodworth, Kim Snow (Bobby); grandchildren, Kristalee, Gordon (Lindsay), Matthew (Kelsey), Jennifer (Matt), Heather, Jackie, Kristen, Kelsie (Patrick), Tony; great-grandchildren, Lia, Baylie, Kashton, Emma, Laura. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” Woodworth; son, Randy Woodworth; sisters, Ida Pettis, Ruby Forrest; brother, Jimmy Price; daughter-in-law, Paula Woodworth.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). A Funeral Service will be held from The Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM. Visitation will take place two hours prior from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Interment will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens in the spring.
