Condolences to Bill, Sandy & Holly in your mom’s passing.
As our cousin, Roz holds a special place in our hearts & family. She was a big part of our “growing up” days in Saint John and because she was named after our mother & her aunt they were known as “Big Rozie” & “Little Rozie!
She will always be very special in our memory!

My condolences to Holly, Billie, Sandy and their families and to all Roz’s friends and other family members. What a lady and what a life well lived! Sooooo many memories from Saint .john escapades (and a bit of shopping perhaps), Oak Point, summer trips to the Indian River Festival and of stories about trips with the Cronins on the Busby and to Maine and, of course, those MetOpera trips. Oh yes, and of often getting into more than a bit of trouble in the Carriage Trade. A favourite memory though is of an interaction with the owner of one of the owners of a clothing outlet on Chabanel in Montreal - one of Roz's favourite places to buy stock for the Carridge Trade. When the woman learned I had grown up in Saint John she asked if I knew Roz and then talked for a long time about what a wonderful person she was! Here is to a life well lived and so many contributions to us all.

My deepest Condolences to the family.
I have so enjoyed reading the Obituary of a ‘Life Well Lived’ Rosamund ‘Roz’ Mooney.
Active in many and diverse areas of the society in which she lived. Her Church, her Business interest within St John Board of Trade, Politics , garment buying trips -( no wonder she was always impeccably dressed ) and last, but not least - Family.
I met ‘Mimi’ - at the Wedding of my son Silas to Anne in June 2022- a beautiful grandchild was born in 2024-Sadie- Grace - This formidable lady lives on through Anne, Ross and Holly, her brothers and grandchildren . You deserve your Rest in Peace- and will Rise in Glory

Mrs Mooney was a very special lady who we love and respect. My parents and the Mooneys enjoyed politics and events at the Union Club for many years and had a wonderful friendship. We were very sorry when Mr Mooney died. After his death, we would visit the shop and Mother always made sure to telephone regularly and to include Mrs Mooney for various lunches and events.
Over the years we have had some wonderful conversations with Mrs Mooney as she was always interested in what one was doing, and wanted to talk about many subjects. She proudly would tell us about her children and grandchildren, and share news of her travels to see them.
The last two times I saw Mrs Mooney (in King's Square with her helper) taking a walk in the summer and at the 140th Anniversary Dinner at the Union Club in October we had lovely exchanges for which I am so grateful. She will remain one of the best people I have had the privilege to know.
On behalf of the Waldschütz Family, especially our Parents, we send our sincere condolences to the Mooney Family and everyone who loved Mrs Mooney. May you find comfort in your memories and faith.
Let light perpetual shine upon Mrs Mooney. God Bless.

Holly, Sandy, Bill & Family,
I first met Roz in 1983 on a bus trip to NYC organized by Connie Marr. Shortly after that, I had an interview with John and rest as they say, is history.
Since reading of Roz’s passing, I’ve had a flood of wonderful memories from over the years, Roz was a beautiful lady inside and out, and I feel so fortunate to have gotten to know both she and John, and all of you.
I am so thankful to have visited with her this past summer and get caught up on all of you, and had the added excitement of meeting Anne, Silas & Sadie.
I will be forever grateful of the kindnesses shown to me by Roz and all of you. She was a very special lady.
I hope your memories help sustain you through the coming days and weeks.

Mimi, you were so kind, wise and full of amazing stories, I’ll always treasure our little chats, what I loved the most is seeing you and Anne together just simply lying on the bed and catching up a truly special bond that we will miss greatly, and the joy of being able to see you with Sadie and the four generations together. Love and miss you Mimi

My condolences to your family. My memories of Roz are entertained with all the big events of my life. She was always with Mom being a truly great friend to her. One of my most memorable lessons from Roz was to never ask a person their age, and it has put me in good stead.
Roz, to a life well lived, you will be greatly missed.
