




Obituary of Linda Ann Melles
The death of Linda Melles of Saint John, cherished wife of Stephen Melles, occurred on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born on May 30, 1950 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Monteith) Durley.
Linda’s career was in retail, where she worked at various stores throughout the city. She enjoyed crafting and a good game of cards. In her earlier years, she loved to bowl. Linda will always be remembered as loving, caring and giving. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, Stephen, Linda is survived by her children, Stacey Melles (Tim Hunter) and Tony Melles (Amy Daigle); brothers, Rickie Durley and Mike Durley; precious grandchildren, Noah, Heidrich, Bré-Lynn and Tyvin. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Kevin.
Linda’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the incredible staff of Cedar House for their care and compassion. Your kindness, guidance and support will never be forgotten.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or a charity of one’s choice.
