Obituary of Ashley Joseph Jesso

With heavy hearts, the family of Ashley Jesso announce his untimely passing on Friday, April 11, 2025, at his residence. Born March 9, 1973, in Stephenville, NL, he was a son of Ann (Young) and Thaddeus “Ted” Jesso.

Ashley was funny and kind and worked hard at his job as a painter. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing and hunting over the years.

Ashley will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Ann and Ted; daughters, Shadana Krause (Jeremy) and Shalissa Fournier (Brad); son, Michael O’Connor; grandchildren: Graydon, Liam, Kristopher, Damian, Oaklee, and Aspen; sister, Cindy Jesso (Marty Dorcas); brother, Ross Jesso; nieces and nephews: Riley and Max Jesso & Tasha and Lacey King; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother and best friend, Toby Jesso.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A Funeral Liturgy celebrating Ashley’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 2 pm from Brenan’s Chapel.
