I remember starting at Strescon in 1977 as a young Draftsman and met Lloyd Ginn , Charlie Wiliston and Dougie Damon . They were fabulous times and I learned so much from them in preparing shop drawings. There was never a dull moment with constant humour . Charlie was a Bosox fan and Dougie a Yankee .. At 10:00 A.M every morning coffee was made and the laughter never ceased. I moved to Ontario in 1980 but always kept fond memories of those guys . I always looked up to you Dougie RIP .

So sorry to learn of Doug’s passing. I worked closely with Doug for years and he was one of the finest gentlemen that I ever knew. He was absolutely liked and respected by all his colleagues. And, I will never forget his office celebration the year the NY Rangers won the Cup, it was hysterical. Doug will be missed by all who knew him.

I'm very sad to hear of Dougie's passing. He was a great colleague & friend to my Dad, Charley. I enjoyed running in to him, usually at a rink somewhere, & catching up. Sports were usually the main topic of conversation - Rangers vs. Habs - and he was always keen to update me on his kids & grand-kids. He was so proud of all of you and his love for you was very evident. Please accept my condolences & know that I'm thinking of you all.
