Obituary of Allan Charles Sherwood

With heavy hearts, the family of Allan Sherwood, survived by his loving wife Sara (Stevens), announce his passing on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by his family. Born August 29, 1953, in Toronto, Ontario, he was a son of the late Robert and Marion (Gray) Sherwood.

Allan resided in Bayswater, New Brunswick. He enjoyed riding his Harley as well as taking trips with his wife, Sara. Allen was an avid pool enthusiast and would spend his spare days playing pool. Another one of his hobbies was making homemade wine to share with friends and family. One of Allan’s favourite bands that you could catch him listening to at any time was Pink Floyd

In addition to his beloved wife, Sara, Allan will be missed by his Sons Adam (Kait) Sherwood, Scott (Nicole Crier) Sherwood, Stepson Josh (Sophie Smith) Sorensen, Brothers Ron (Sandy) Sherwood, Gary (Hope) Sherwood, Brian (Jennifer) Sherwood, Sister Gloria Joyce, Brother in Law Dave (Ruth) Stevens, John (Judy) Stevens, James Stevens, Sister in law Helen (Terry) Laite; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Allan was predeceased by Brother-in-law Gary Joyce and Stepson Jeremy Sorensen.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), where visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm. A funeral service celebrating Allans’ life will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2025, at 12 pm from Brenan’s Chapel, with reception to follow right after the service.
