Obituary of Kevin Walter Martin

It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Walter Martin announces his passing which occurred on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Born in Saint John, NB on January 28, 1956, he was a son of the late John Martin and Ethel Dorbyson.

Kevin loved classic cars and hunting. He also enjoyed relaxing and watching his favourite show, Bad Chad.

Kevin leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia (Basque); sons, Brian “Chucky” Martin and Jeffrey Martin (Jenna Carr); daughter, Tiffany Martin (Mark Raynes); grandchildren, Alyssa Martin, Tanisha Martin, Cody Martin, Tapenka Martin, Madison Martin, Jeffrey Armstrong, Britney Martin, Mackenzie Martin, Carter Martin; as well as a great-granddaughter, Haley Wheaton. In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his brothers, Lewis Dorbyson, Brian Dunphy; and sister, Leonna Laird.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, there will be no services. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
