Obituary of Inez Josephine Parsons
The peaceful passing of Inez Josephine (Saunders) Parsons, wife of the late Harding "Keith" Parsons, occurred on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Shannex Nursing Home – Embassy Hall. Born May 25, 1935 in Meenan’s Cove, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Carrie (Dann) Saunders.
Inez loved to be surrounded by family and friends either at home cooking sweets, at the Washademoak or in Port Greville, NS playing 45’s after a long day of picking blueberries; Inez always enjoyed the Saunders family gatherings. During her career, Inez worked at the NB Insurance Exchange and RBC Dominion Securities.
Inez will be lovingly remembered by her children: Anna Marie Hutton (Robert), Derek (Kim), Dana (Sandra) and Mark; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Keith, she was predeceased by her brothers: Robert and Kenneth and sisters: Vera, Helen, Erma and Olive.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Concord and Embassy Halls at Shannex Quispamsis for their loving care and thoughtfulness.
