Obituary of Barbara Eleanor Scribner

Today heaven celebrates the arrival of their newest angel, Barbara "Nellie" Eleanor (Davis) Scribner of Saint John, NB, who passed away peacefully surrounded by love, on April 18, 2018 at the McCarthy’s Special Care Home . Born in Perth Amboy, N.J. on August 31, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Towell) Davis. Nellie is survived by her son David Scribner (Marlene); grandchildren: Kevin, Debbie and Melanie; many great-grandchildren along with many special friends at the special care home. The family would like to thank all who cared for Nellie at McCarthy’s Special Care Home. With a special thank you to Barbara & Darren McCarthy and Ann-Marie Creamer N.P. Arrangements are intrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Monday, April 23, 2018 10:00 am -12:00 pm with a Funeral Service to follow at the Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 pm.
