Obituary of Michael James Coleman

Michael passed away peacefully at his home on April 20, 2018. Michael was born in Saint John on December 15, 1950, the son of Alphonse and Kathleen (Haney) Coleman. He is survived by his brother Peter; sister-in-law Paula; nephew Chris (Nicole) of Vancouver; niece Sarah of Toronto; and great-nieces Sadie and Ruby. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Paul. Michael won maritime midget championships playing minor hockey and was a member of the Maritime Peewee Champions. He also played for the Saint John Mooseheads. Michael was an avid sports fan. He was liked by all who met him. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby's Hospice would be appreciated by the family. There will be a private graveside service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, where Michael will join his mother and brother Paul.
