Obituary of Dianne Marie Chamberlain
With heavy hearts, the family of Dianne Chamberlain announces her passing which occurred on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1949 and was one of 17 children of the late Thomas and Helen (Stevens) Mitchell.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband, Terry Chamberlain, who will be lost without her. Her daughters: Jeanette (Robert) Helmkay and Rosemay McKay, grandsons: Michael and Matthew Helmkay, great grandchildren: Katie, Charlee and Alexis, her brothers: Bill, Sam, Allen, Harold and Danny Mitchell, sisters: Dorothy Myers, Judy Barr, Betty Walsh, Jeanette Stevens and Joan Wilson, sisters-in-law Jeanette and Lana Chamberlain, brothers-in-law: Claude and Donny Chamberlain along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family.
Besides her parents, Dianne was predeceased by her brothers: Malcolm, Bobby and Wayne and sisters: Marg McKay, Marlene Mitchell and Doreen Liston.
She was a beautiful lady, always with her heartfelt smile. She loved her husband and always tried to make both of their lives better. She was a gentle soul with a heart of gold. God blessed her with many talents; doll making, sewing, guitar playing along with many other gifts. She loved her country gospel. Dianne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who could make something out of nothing, out of rags. She was always known for her saying "One rose will do" and "God Bless".
