Obituary of Mabel Lilian Trecartin

The death of Miss Mabel Lilian Trecartin, formerly of Red Head Road, Saint John, occurred on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John, on February 19, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel J. (Clarke) Trecartin. Lilian was the book keeper at Trecartin Grocery and worked for the Department of Public Works for many years, and was a member of St. Mary's Anglican Church. She is survived by one sister, Audrey Stewart of Saint John and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald, John and Robert Trecartin and sisters, Margaret Patterson and Sadie Black. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 9:30 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Old Cemetery.
