Obituary of Emma Hubertina Bogers
It is with appreciation for a beautiful, loving, and giving heart that the family of Emma Hubertina (Ramaekers) Bogers announces her passing, which occurred on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Holland on Feb 23, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Jos Ramaeker and Maria Donner.
Emma is survived by her daughter Maria Kane (Jim); son Hank Bogers (Nicole); grandchildren Jimmy and Catherine Kane, Dana, Dustin and Kyle Bogers; great-grandchildren Grayson and Isla Kane, Gavin and Emma Ash, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jos Bogers, and her brothers and sisters in Holland.
Resting at Brenans Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visitation on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Church on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held in the church hall following the service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in Emma’s memory may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Bobby’s Hospice.
