Obituary of Lillian Beaumont Clack
It is with broken hearts, but also appreciation for a long life well-lived, that the children of Lillian Beaumont (McLean) Clack, announce her peaceful passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, May 7, 2018. Wife of the late Jesse "John" Clack, Lillian was born in Saint John on March 15, 1921, the eldest daughter of the late William Leslie McLean DCM, and Frances Gertrude (Adams) McLean.
Lillian will be dearly missed by her children; Ronald (Helen), Grande Prairie, AB; James (Edith), Rothesay, NB; Susan, Saint John, NB; Barbara Jolie (Charlie), Prince of Wales, NB; and John (Lori), Rothesay, NB; 9 grandchildren: Heather, Jennifer, Debby, Brian, Lisa, Stephen, Andrew, Jeremy and Alison; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Elizabeth Pritchard, Peterborough, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband of 60 years and parents, Lillian was predeceased by her sister Barbara Mullin.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:00 am from Glen View United Church, 8 Upland Rd. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Glen View United Church or any charity of the donor’s choice.
