Obituary of Gerald Melvin Gordon
With heavy hearts, the family of Gerry Gordon announce his passing on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 10, 1944 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Albert and Mary Melvina (Cormier) Gordon.
Gerry is survived by his special friend, Lorraine "Dee Dee" Crowe; sisters, Rita LeBlanc of St. Stephen and Lillian Fortune of Saint John; sister-in-law, Janet Gordon; his best friend, Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Mike and George; and his baby sister, Pearl.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 12:10 pm from The Cathedral Of The Immaculate Conception. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11 am. Please no fresh flowers due to allergies. Remembrances to Romero House would be appreciated by the family.
