Obituary of Thomas Isaac Parsons

The death of Mr. Thomas Isaac (Tom) Parsons, of Saint John, NB, occurred unexpectedly at his residence. Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he is the son of Bertha Parsons and the late Thomas Warren Parsons. Tom was a former graduate of Saint John Vocational School. He had been licensed in Real Estate for more than 30 years; he has been involved in construction, and has owned and managed investment properties for a number of years. Besides his mother, Bertha, Tom is survived by one son, Thomas (Chuck) Parsons and his wife Cheryl of Rothesay, two daughters, Kathy Parsons of Cincinnati, Ohio and Susan Barton and her husband David of Beaver Creek, Ohio, three sisters, Elizabeth Parsons of Saint John, Judith Lacasse and her husband Claude of Alliston, ON, and Dianne Cotton and her husband Allan of Bathurst, three grandchildren, Sarah and Ryan Barton of Ohio, and Julia Parsons of Rothesay, his special friend, Judi Harvey, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, a sister, Martha Parker, and a brother, Charlie Parsons. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at 2:00 PM from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506) 634-7424. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
