Obituary of Edward C. Kaine
The death of Edward (Ted) C. Kaine occurred on Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the Edward A. and Clare (Kane) Kaine. He was a graduate of St. Vincents Boys High School. He served overseas in the RCAF during World War II and was employed by the Federal Government as a Railway Mail Clerk, retiring in 1974. He was President of East Long Lake Fishing Club. He is survived by two sons Raymond of Nackawic, NB, Edward (Patricia) of Fort McMurray, AB, two daughters, Nancy Kilfoil (Terry) of Rothesay, NB, Mary-Jo Kaine (Rob Burgis) of Toronto, ON, grandchildren , Bob, Raymond, Richard, Angela (Grant), Edward, Kathy (Milhorn), Michael Kaine, Barb, Brendan and Ryan Kilfoil, six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Doris (Dunham) Kaine, his two brothers George and Raymond and his two sisters Josephine (Bain) and Elery Kaine. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 11, 2003, at 11:00 AM, from St. Pius X Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
