Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Kelly

It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Elizabeth Kelly, announce her passing which occurred on May 17, 2018 at St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born on December 31, 1954 in Burnt Island, NL, she was a daughter to the late Michael and Dorothy Kelly. Marie was a beautiful woman, inside and out. Her smile was infectious and her laugh, contagious, she was often doing both. She took great pleasure and joy in writing and baking. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and family, she will be dearly missed. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jody Patten (Patrick Good) and Chris Patten (Tania Burns), her grandchildren: Sarah and Emily Good and Mason Patten, her siblings Madeline, Jenny, Tina, Terry and Jerry along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Although there will be no visitation or funeral service, for those who wish, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
