The death of Mr. Allan George Kincade, of Saint John, son of Norval and Eva (Nixon) Kincade, occurred on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at his residence. Born in Saint John, Allan had graduated from Simonds High School, Class of '73, and also from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, in 1979, with a degree in Business Administration. Allan was employed with Gallagher's General Store in Market Square and L'il Shop of Science in Brunswick Square. Allan was known as a "jack-of-all-trades", who thoroughly enjoyed gardening. He had a love for animals, senior citizens, and children, especially his nieces and nephews. Allan is survived by his parents, Norval and Eva Kincade, and two sisters, Caroline Erickson (Mike) of Kingston Peninsula, and Judy Brodersen (Blake) of Rothesay. "Uncle Al" will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Robert Erickson (Amanda), Jeremy Erickson (fiancée, Marie Savoie), and Melodie Erickson, and Etta and Garrett Brodersen, as well as several aunts, two uncles, and special friends, Doug and Penny Somers. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. By request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506) 634-7424.
