Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Comeau
It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Elizabeth Comeau, loving wife of Brian Smith, announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Born in Blacks Harbour on April 5, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Bertha Chisholm.
Mary loved her job at Scotiabank where she worked for 40 loyal years. She was an animal lover and was especially close to her Beagles. She was also known to be an avid Habs fan. Above all, Mary loved her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, Brian, Mary is survived by her children, Jason, Michelle and Jamie Comeau; step-son, Bradley Smith; sister, Carol David; brother, John Chisholm; grandchildren, Dylan and Lily; nieces, Shonna, Lynn and Lisa; nephew, Michael and her special canine boys, Chase and Eli. Mary was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law, Stirling "Doc" Thompson.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 12:00 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in Maces Bay Cemetery.
