Obituary of Daniel Paige Emenau
It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Paige Emenau announces his passing which occurred on June 5, 2018. He was born on July 23, 1968 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He is survived by his parents Dr. Paige L Emenau (Colleen) of Quispamsis, and Mrs. Ann Jones (Graham) of Oakville. His three brothers: Mark (Dasha) of Edmonton, Michael (Kate) of Montreal and Darren (Nora) of Saint John, step-brothers: Christopher Moore (Patricia) of Dartmouth and Michael Moore of Halifax, his nieces: Lucy Emenau of Saint John, Kai of Montreal and Elizabeth Barnes of Dartmouth, and nephews: Henri of Montreal and Matthew Moore of Halifax, special friends Wes Bennett, Barb Doyle and Catherine Hasson and Aunt Gail Goodwin of Hantsport, NS.
Dan was predeceased by his grandparents Harold and Elizabeth Emenau of Brooklyn, NS
Dan graduated KV High School, then UNB with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been employed with Lepreau Nuclear Plant (1989), NB Power Engineer IV (1998) and in 2013 engineer level V.
Dan loved his music; he played drums and the guitar. He was also very active, playing hockey, and loved fishing with his father. Dan had many very close friends who will miss his offerings of help and his listening ear; everyone loved Dan.
Arrangements are in the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 8 from 2-4 and 6-8. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 9 at 2 PM with interment to take place at St. Andrews United Church– Hammond River Road, Quispamsis.
For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
