Obituary of Barbara Ann Jones
With appreciation for a life well-lived, the family of Barbara Jones announces the passing of their dear mother who passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. Born in Fredericton, NB on November 19, 1932, she was a daughter of the late George and Eva (Brewer) Agnew.
She will be missed by her daughters, Dena and Gwen; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband Cecil Jones in 1984.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. John and St. Stephen home for their compassionate care of their mother.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. A graveside service will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 9:30 am. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice.
