Obituary of Jules J. Robichaud
The death of Mr. Jules J. Robichaud of Chance Harbour, NB, husband of Ella (Burbridge) Robichaud, occurred on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Inkerman, NB, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Denise (Power) Robichaud. Jules was self employed throughout his working career in the lumbering industry. He had a great love for his family and friends, and enjoyed gardening and reading. Jules is survived by his loving wife, Ella, of 59 years, six sons, Douglas and Alphonse (Tania) both of Chance Harbour, James (Deborah) of Saint John, Paul (Donna) of Chance Harbour, Peter (Wendy) of Saint John, and Kevin (Jennifer) of Musquash, five daughters, Doris Dickson (Donald) of Perth Andover, Jacqueline Chorley (Kenneth) of Hampton, Jeannette Shannon (James) of Sussex, Donna Hodd (Christopher) of Musquash, and Denise Robichaud at home, three brothers, Peter (Emerisa), Phillipe (Melina), and Stanislas (Verne), one sister, Emerentienne Boudreau (Romeo), one sister-in-law, Florine Robichaud, 20 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia, and a brother, Jim. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Monday from 7-9 and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 10:00 AM from St. Rose de Lima Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
