Obituary of Kenneth Lowell Mallory

The death of Kenneth Lowell Mallory of Saint John, husband of Mary K. (Melvin) Mallory, occurred on Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Kennebec Manor Nursing Home. Born in Hammondvale, NB, he was the son of the late Lee Austin and Muriel E. (Anderson) Mallory. Mr. Mallory was formerly employed with Wasson's, Imperial Oil, Mackay Forrest Products and the Department of Transportation, before his retirement and was a member of Glen View United Church Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Earl (Jane) of Sussex, Roy of Saint John and Robert of Petawawa, ON, two daughters, Barbara Campbell (William) of Saint John and Joyce O'Donnell of Fredericton, one step-son, George Prokipczuk Jr. of Saint John, three step-daughters, Christina Fowler of Saint John, Diane Hicks (Michael) and Mary Ann Kearns (Bill), both of Saint John, five brothers, Hartley (Helen) of Whitecourt, AB, George (Mona) of Oakville, ON, Bernard (Jackie) of Sussex, David of Hammondvale and Cyril of Sussex, two sisters, Helen Reicker of Sussex Corner and Yvonne Sherwood of Jeffreys Corner, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Bernice A. Ruth (Watson) Mallory in 1978. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Sussex Corner, at a later date. Family flowers only, by request, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the ALS Society or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
