Obituary of Frederick Gregory Michael Brown
The death of Greg Brown, of Gilbert Street, husband of Jean (McCullough) Brown, occurred on Thursday, November 5, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Robert Duncan and Maude Veronica (Horgan) Brown. He was a life long resident of Saint John. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces for over twenty years and following retirement he served with the reserve army. He was a Korean War Veteran, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Adanac Club. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Richard and Michael both of Saint John, his daughters Katherine and her husband Stephen Hartt of Quispamsis, Jeanette and her husband Gary Coyle of Saint John, his brothers William and his wife Marg of Ontario, Robert of Victoria, BC, his sisters Marie Mougenel of Barrie, ON, Margaret Todman of Toronto, his grandchildren Natasha, Kendall, Brianna, Rebecca and Candace and several nieces and nephews. His brother Thomas and his sisters Dorothy predeceased him. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), visiting will take place on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Tribute to a Veteran's Service at 7:00 PM on Friday. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2003, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Remembrances made to the charity of donor's choice.
