Obituary of Barbara J. Burke

The death of Barbara J. Burke, of Stephenson Tower Drive, Saint John, occurred on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Gillespie) Cooper. She is survived by one son, Randall Smith (Crystal), of Upperton, NB, one daughter, Karen Mitchell and her sons, R. J. Mitchell and Ryan Mitchell, of Quispamsis, one brother, Austin L. Burke of Saint John, three sisters, Rose Frankton, Shirley Conroy, both of Nova Scotia and Theresa McNeil of Saint John, several nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 5, 2003 at 2:15 PM. Following cremation, interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors choice.
