Obituary of Margaret Sara Fawcett
The death of Mrs. Margaret Sara (Burhoe) Fawcett, wife of the late Everett Fawcett, formerly of 179 Alma Street, Saint John East occurred on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at the St. John & St. Stephen Church Home. Born at Mount Hope, PEI, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Livingston) Burhoe. She had been a resident of this city most of her life and was a member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, David of Saint John; five daughters, Elaine Jorden , Isabell Fawcett, Barbara (Malcolm) Cook, Donna Northrup, Debbie (Gary) Gallant, all of Saint John; two step-daughters, Shirley Smith, Seattle, Washington and Caroline Dennerlein of California; sisters, Willena (Chester) Banks of PEI and Florence Fawcett of Saint John; grandchildren Rhonda Hayward, Stephen Jorden, Krista Jorden, Nicole Gallant, Lindsey Gallant, Jocelynn Cook-Treacy and Jennifer Goguen, seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by son Murray and daughter Linda and brothers, John and Albert Burhoe. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. onWednesday, September 24, 2003. The funeral will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
