Obituary of Shirley Virginia Flint
The death of Shirley Virginia Flint of Saint John, wife of the late Rev. Robert B. Flint, occurred on Sunday, April 11, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Kathryn (Bates) Lucas. She is survived by one son, Joseph Flint (Alicia) of Saint John, son-in-law, James T. Grannan of Saint John, foster daughter, Veneal King of Carthage, Mississippi, one sister, Ruth Zuravsky of USA, four grandchildren, James Grannan, Sharon E. Grannan, Curtis Flint and Makayla Flint and one niece, Cathy Ellis. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon K. Grannan, sisters, Irma, Clara and Mary and brothers, John, Ernest, William and Clarence Jr.. A Memorial service will be held at First United Pentecostal Church, Mark Drive, Saint John, on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Maynard Cemetery, Maynard, ON. Arrangements under the direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
