Obituary of Paul Dubec
The death of Paul Dubec, husband of Esther (Coggan) Dubec, of Saint John and Toronto, occurred on December 12, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Thunder Bay, ON, he was the son of the late Samuel and Dorothy Dubec. Paul served during World War II with the Merchant Marines and spent the greater part of his life sailing on the Great Lakes. Besides his wife he is survived by his brother Michael of Thunder Bay, ON, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. His half?brothers John Sokoloski, Fort William, ON, Bill Sokoloski, California, Steve Sokoloski, Fort William, ON, Harry Sokoloski, Fort William, ON, Metro Dubec, Thunder Bay, ON, and his sister Mary McCormack, Forest, ON, predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Keirsteadville Cemetery.
