Obituary of Dorothy Harding
The death of Dorothy Harding of Saint John, wife of the late Harold Roy Harding, occurred on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Pushthrough, NL, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (White) Lee. Mrs. Harding has lived in Saint John for the past 60 years. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Lakewood and the Fundy Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, David Roy Harding (Tracey), two daughters, Heather Ann Cole (James) and Merry Lee Horseman (Gary), all of Saint John, one sister, Amelia Hiltz of Chester, NS, four grandchildren, Jennifer Dwyer, Stephanie Cole, Brittany Harding and Alex Harding, two step-grandchildren, Michael and David Cole, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Annie Alley and two brothers, Herbert and John. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 31, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated. The Order of the Eastern Star will hold a tribute service on Sunday at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
