Obituary of Eleanor E. Tofts
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. Eleanor Elizabeth Tofts of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late Frank Tofts, passed away on Wednesday, August 03, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Gabriel and Marion Elizabeth (Shiels) Hayman. Eleanor had formerly been employed with Brown's Box Factory. She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Gondola Point, NB. She was also an avid bowling enthusiast with Glen View United Church. She enjoyed trailoring at T.N.T. for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey ( Malcolm) MacMillan of Rothesay, NB, one sister, Audrey Marion June Edwards, Cambridge, NB, six grandchildren, Charles, Shelley, Kimberly, Cory, Andrea and Troy; ten great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Frank Charles Tofts. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 where visiting will take place on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
