Obituary of David John Keirstead
Keirstead, David: The death of David John Keirstead, husband of Noreen (Burns) Keirstead, occurred on July 15, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB on January 7, 1935 he was the son of the late Honorable Judge Reginald D. and Hazel (Sharp) Keirstead. David was employed with Ford Motor Company, SMT and CAN AM, he was also self-employed for many years. Besides, his wife he is survived by his son; Peter (Tina) Keirstead of Saint John, NB, his daughter, Pam Berry & Tom Hebert of Westfield, NB . His brothers, George Keirstead of Saint John, NB, his sister, Elizabeth (David) Angevine of Saint John, NB, and his brother in law, Cameron Benson of Saint John, NB. David is survived by four grandchildren; Mackenzie, Cole and Regan Keirstead and Alex Berry and also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jeanette Benson and his sister in law, Marleen Keirstead. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Sunday July 18 for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday July 19 at 11 am from Portland United Church with a reception to follow at the church. Following the reception the interment will take place at 2:30 pm at River Bank Cemetery, Norton, NB. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
