Obituary of Mark Douglas Pearce

The death of Mark Pearce, husband of Carman (Laushway) Pearce of Newman Street, occurred on July 24th, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Mark was born in Saint John on May 19th, 1956 to Robert and Elinor (Lawson) Pearce. He worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in the Maintenance Department for 32 years. Mark enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by two sons: Kenny (Wendy) and Kevin (Nellie) both of Sanikilvaq, Nunavut; one step-son: Michael Beck of Saint John; one step daughter: Tanya Beck of Saint John; two brothers: Wayne of Edmonton, AB and Terry (Veronica) of Saint John; one sister Brenda of Saint John; one grand daughter: Leeann Kala; in-laws: Ruby and Ron Bouchie of Saint John; two nephews: Nicholas and Nathan; one step-niece: Theresa; one aunt: Grace Lawson of Saint John; one great aunt: Ruth Armstrong of Moncton; one great uncle Wilfred (Doris) Stewart of Welsford and several cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row Saint John, NB 634-7424. With Visitation on Monday and Tuesday 7-9 pm only (on both days). The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27th, 2005 at 2:15 pm, from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Following cremation, interment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation.
