Margie grew up two doors away from us on Newtown Road in St John's. There were always delicious smells wafting out her back door because Mrs Andrews baked cakes in her own home for Tessier's cake shop on Military Road! They were a nice family and Margie was a happy, cheerful little girl all those many years ago.
