Obituary of William Patrick Fennell
The death of William (Billy) Fennell occurred unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 3, 2004. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late William and Agnes (Ryan) Fennell. Billy worked as a service clerk for CN Rail for many years before his retirement. Billy is survived by his niece, Inez Accursio of Northhandover, Mass. USA, three nephews; Robert Fennell of Lynn, Mass. USA, Joseph Fennell of Chatham, Mass. USA, and Edward Moore of Vancouver, BC, sister-in-law, Helen Fennell of Lynn, Mass. USA, seven cousins, Paul Fennell of Orlando, FL. USA, Barbara McSherry of Panama City, FL. USA, Jack, Edward, Thomas and Larry Ryan and Ann Diamond all of Mass. USA. He is predeceased by his sister, Inez Moore and brother, Bernard Fennell. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Trinity Church, Rockland Road, Saint John, NB, Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 12:00 PM. Following cremation interment will take place in Wards Creek Catholic Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
