Obituary of Peter Lake Aske
The death of Peter Aske by accident on Monday, January 17, 2005 at the age of 45. Born in Montreal, Peter spent his youth and most of his career and married life in the Saint John area. Peter was a professional engineer, employed at Xwave since 1997. He was a graduate of the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Mount Allison University, and Saint John High School. Peter was a loving husband and devoted father. He contributed to his community through Beavers and Cubs, was very keen on technology, and spending time outdoors. His favorite pastime was hiking in 'his' woods at the Belleisle. He will be sadly missed by his wife Heather (Angevine), son Timothy and daughter Sherry, both at home. He was the son of Roger and Dee-Dee (Skinner) Aske of Kennebecasis Park and son-in-law of David and Betty Angevine of Saint John. He is also survived by his sister Karen (John) McNally of Moncton, brother Robert (Heather) of Halifax, sister Janet (Mike) Keenan of Ottawa, and brother-in-law David Angevine (Lesley) of Saint John. His desire to organize fun activities and keep cottage life exciting will be sadly missed by his eleven nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506)-634-7424 with visiting from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Thursday. The funeral will be held from St. David's United Church, Rothesay, on Friday at 11 am. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
