Obituary of Madeline J. Jackson
The death of Madeline J. Jackson of Bedell Avenue, Saint John, wife of the late Norman Jackson, occurred on Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Catherine (Phelan) Kiervin. Madeline attended St. Vincent's High School, graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy and was a longtime employee of NB Tel. She was a life member of St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary, member of St. Pius X Church, life member of the St. Pius X Church CWL and a member of the Union Club. She is survived by two daughters, Anne K. Theriault (Jacques) of Rothesay and Susan M. MacAdam (Lane) of Ottawa, ON, one brother, Raymond Kiervin (Patricia) of Saint John, one sister, Doreen McCarthy (Cam) of Rothesay, sister-in-law Betty Kiervin of Saint John, six grandchildren, Daniel, Gregory and Madeleine Theriault, Kali, Kirsten and Laurel MacAdam, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Gerald Kiervin. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick of the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
