Obituary of Madelion Theresa McGrath
The death of Madelion Theresa McGrath formerly of Garnett Settlement, wife of Lawrence McGrath, occurred on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Loch Lomond Villa, following a lengthy illness. Born in Lower Johnville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Sarah (McAdam) Feeney. Mrs. McGrath was an active member of St. Joseph's Parish and their CWL. Besides her husband, she is survived by six sons, Donald (Lila) of Black River, Joseph (Susie) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Stephen (Suzanne) of Dieppe, Earle (Edie) of St. Martins, Shawn (Rosemonde) of Black River and Martin (Shirley) of Hampton, two daughters, Rita Brideau (Dennis) of Garnett Settlement, Roseann Greer (Timothy) of Fredericton, special daughter, Jody McGrath (Richard) of Grand Bay-Westfield, two brothers, Leo Feeney and John Feeney, both of Bath, NB, two sisters, Rita Christiansen of Halifax, NS and Eileen O'Donald of Houlton, ME, 18 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice and Thomas Feeney and four sisters, Sister Carmelita (Joanne) Feeney, Pauline Grant, Ida Grant and Mildred Donahue Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Loch Lomond on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Black River. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
