Obituary of Helen Pauline Cunningham

The death of Helen Pauline Cunningham, of Magazine Street, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Walter Dalzell Cunningham, occurred on Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Westport, NS she was a daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Cameron) MacDormand and had been employed at The Saint John General Hospital from 1929 ? 1939 as a Registered Nurse. Survived by one son, Peter Cunningham of London Ont.; three sisters, Muriel Derby, Chatham, Ont., Lena Burdick, Laguna Beach, California, Elsie MacLachlan, Shawville, Que.; one brother, Robert MacDormand, Westport, NS; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband; two sisters, Blanche Shaw and Dorma Gould; and two brothers, Leland and Elbridge MacDormand. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506) 634-7424 for private family viewing with cremation to follow and private interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
