Obituary of Lena ‘Marion’ Carleton
The death of Lena ‘Marion’ Carleton, wife of the late Murray Carleton, occurred on May 28, 2007 at her residence, the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late John and Lena (Trecartin) Hughes. She was employed with Irving Oil Ltd. at the Golden Ball Building. Surviving are her daughters Kathryne McLean and her husband Bruce of Moncton, Debby Nixon and her husband Lawrence of Saint John, son Douglas Carleton and his wife Maisie of Halifax, NS, her 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Ralph Hughes predeceased her. Following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. The family would appreciate remembrances made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
