Obituary of Albert LeBurton Carson
Carson, Albert LeBurton- Surrounded by his loving family, the death of Albert LeBurton Carson, of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Marjorie (Peacock) Carson, occurred on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Robert and Ethel (Trecartin) Carson. Albert had served in World War II as a Captain and retired in 1968. He was a member of St. Matthews Presbyterian Church and served on the board of Trustee’s and Elders and the RCL Branch #64. He was very active in Barbershopping and was a member of the Men of Fundy, Dad and Granddad’s Quartet. Besides his wife he is survived by one son, David of Quispamsis; one daughter, Nancy (Ed) Gallagher of Bains Corner; one sister, Patricia Burlock of Dartmouth, NS; two grandchildren, Thomas and Jennifer Gallagher, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Walter, Harry and Donald. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to charity of the donor’s choice. There will be a RCL Tribute Service on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
