Obituary of Mary Cecelia Love
The death of Mrs. Mary Cecelia Love of Willow Grove, NB, wife of Raymond Love occurred on Friday, February 02, 2007 at Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John, NB she was a daughter of the late Ross A. and Pearl B. (Henry) Wood. Mary was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was a member of St. Joachim’s Church. She was a very loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Besides her husband, Raymond, she is survived by a son, Danny (Trish) of Calgary, AB; three daughters, Barbara (Jeff) of Saint John, Kim (Ken) of Quispamsis and Tammy (Chris) of Saint John; six brothers, Peter Wood of Saint John, Brian (Diane) Wood of Musquash, Robert Wood of Saint John, Ross (Brenda) Wood of Grand Bay-Westfield, Michael (Kathy) Wood and Chuck (Connie) Byers, all of Saint John; four sisters, Rose Young of Saint John, Patricia Hutchinson of Sussex, Donna (Camille) Frigault of Saint John, and Madeline (Douglas) Finley of Quispamsis; five grandchildren, Laura, Alexis, Jacob, Katie and Krissy; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) where visiting will take place on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim’s Church, Loch Lomond Road on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.
