Obituary of Mary Constance Gaynes

Gaynes, Mary Constance “Connie” … The death of Mary Constance “Connie” Gaynes of Saint John, NB occurred on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 30, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Winnifred (Love) Gaynes. Connie had been employed for more that 20 years with Dr. MacDonald as a dental assistant. She is survived by two sisters, Margaret (Murray) Evans and Winnifred (Ron) Parks, both of Saint John; one brother, Jack (Margaret) Gaynes of Ontario; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Predeceased by her parents, one sister, Dorothy McKiel and three brothers, Harold, Michael and Gregory. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, Somerset St, Saint John on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10.am. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
