Obituary of Frances M. Grant
Grant, Frances M. The death of Frances M. Grant, widow of Kenneth r. Grant occurred at her residence Turnbull Nursing Home on October 30, 2008 Frances was born in Brookfield Mines NS she was a daughter of the late Morris and Sadie (Mosher) Judge. She had been employed with F. W. Woolworth Co., Dominion Stores, Royal Hotel, Admiral Beatty Hotel and Saint John Housing at 880 Danells Dr. She was an avid Yahtzee player and enjoyed traveling with various senior groups. Frances is survived by two sons, David (Dorothy) Grant of Musquash, Richard (Valerie) Grant of Saint John West; two daughters, Sybil (Luther) Till of Geary, NB, Frances (Charles) Dupuis of Grand Bay-Westfield; one sister, Doreen Lawton of Saint John East; two brothers, Robert (Edna) Judge of Golden Grove, Clinton “Bud” (Elsie) Judge of Texas, USA; five grandchildren, Kevin, Lorne, Todd, Grant and Krista; six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Izora Struller, Salome Long and Mary Upshall, one brother, Harry Judge. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A private family graveside service will be held Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
