Obituary of Betty Louise Walper
Walper, Betty Louise … With deep sadness the family of Betty Louise Walper of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Charles E. Walper, announces her passing on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine (Bruce) Todd. Betty was a Registered Nurse and had been employed at the Montreal General Hospital. Betty is survived by her two daughters, Joanne (Ronald) Peacock of Pickering, ON and Carolyn (John) McIntyre of Saint John; two sisters, Eileen Dunning of Somerville, Mass. and Pauline Saunders of Charlottetown, PEI; 5 granddaughters, Allison, Jackie and Hilary Peacock, Emma and Evy McIntyre; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her husband and a sister, Beryl Semple. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Breadalbane, PEI at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation, the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or any charity of choice. www.brenansfh.com
