Obituary of Freda Ethel Reese

Reese, Freda Ethel … The death of Freda Ethel Reese of Cumberland Bay, NB, wife of the late Archibald Reese, occurred on Friday, August 15, 2008 at her residence. Born in Yalding, England on March 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (Peerless) Hounsome. Freda was an avid bird watcher and loved animals, she also volunteered at Coles Island School. Survived by her three daughters, Vivian (Ed) Bourgoin of Moncton, NB; Marilyn Cole of Coles Island, NB; Janet Pyne of Rothesay, NB; three sons, Derrick (Kim) Reese of Quispamsis, NB; Howard Reese of Saint John, NB; Michael (Cynthia) Reese of Mactaquac, NB; eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424. At the request of the family there will not be any visiting at the funeral home. Memorial Service will be held from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Young Cove on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Following the Memorial Service there will be a reception at the Coles Island Senior Citizens Hall. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) or any charity of the donor’s choice.
