Obituary of Dolly Fudge
The death of Dolly Fudge of Saint John, wife of William Donald Fudge, occurred on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Dolly was a generous and kind Christian lady, always giving to those in need. She worked for 25 years at Ken’s Fountain on Prince William Street as well as MRA’s Tea Room, the Swiss Diner on Ocean Westway, and the Mediterranean Restaurant as a Hostess. She touched the hearts of many people and will be sadly missed by her family and her cat Holly. In addition to her husband, Dolly is survived by four children, Heather McBurnie (John Burdon) of Saint John, Sharon McBurnie (Joe Velardo) of Grand Bay, Sherwin McBurnie (Deanne) of Norton, and James McBurnie of Western Canada; seven grandchildren; an aunt, Ethel Eliason of Saint John; brothers Ronald Cook (Bernice), Harold Bosco (Betty); step-brother Joe Bosco (Sadie); and several nieces and nephews. Dolly was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Wooden (Raymond). Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the First United Pentecostal Church, 130 Mark Drive, Saint John. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
